Terms and Conditions
These are our terms and conditions. Please read them with care.
1. Prices
Prices are quoted including UK Value Added Tax, currently 17.5%. For orders being shipped to addresses outside the European Union, please e-mail us to have these VAT charges automatically deducted at checkout. Non-EU customers may have to pay local taxes within their own countries when the parcel arrives. Please contact your own Postal Service or Customs Office for further information on local customs charges and policies.
If your require an itemised VAT receipt, please e-mail us either at the time of your order or any time thereafter and we will arrange to forward you one.
2. Packaging
Each piece of jewellery will arrive packaged in an attractive Meredith Jewellery gift box.
3. Guarantee
We try our best to ensure that our customers are delighted with every purchase. Therefore each piece of Meredith Jewellery comes with a 30-day guarantee. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us, in its original condition, within 30 days. Unfortunately, due to Health & Safety Regulations we are not able to exchange earrings.
We will also guarantee each piece against defects for a further 11 months, giving you a full 12 months peace of mind.
4. Payment
Our on-line credit card transactions are processed through the highly-respected secure payment service Paypal. Alternatively, you may fax or phone us with your credit card details on +44 01259 751873 or mail your cheque or postal order to: Meredith Jewellery, Orders, Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire, FK13 6EA, Scotland, UK.
We regret that your order cannot be processed until payment has been confirmed. In the case of payment by cheque, this may mean a slight delay.
5. Returns
Earrings
Due to Health and Safety Regulations we are not able to accept returns of earrings except in the event that they are damaged, defective or have been sent to you in error.
All Other Items
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us, in its original condition, within 30 days for a full refund, replacement or exchange.
Defective Items
If you receive an item that is defective, damaged or has been sent to you in error, we would appreciate it if you would inform us as soon as possible so that we can begin to sort out the problem immediately. Refund of Shipping Charges
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is defective or damaged on receipt, we will be happy to refund the shipping charges. Otherwise you will be responsible for those charges.
To Return an Item
Please enclose a note giving the reason for return, wrap the item securely and send the package to the address below. In the case of a defective product, it would be helpful if you would provide a full description of the fault. Send to:

For your protection we recommend that you obtain proof of posting or use a recorded or special delivery service.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
