Frequently asked questions.

How will my order be sent?

At checkout, you will be able to choose from Royal Mail First Class, First Class Signed For and Special Delivery.

In December 2020 we also introduced several options for fully-tracked delivery by the courier Hermes. However, we began to find them unreliable so are posting everything by Royal Mail until further notice.

We are committed to keeping the cost of delivery to a minimum by covering a portion of the postage ourselves.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are usually shipped within 1-2 working days of your purchase. We will send you confirmation of posting by email once your order is on its way.

Your order should arrive in 3-7 days for shipments to UK and European addresses, and 5-12 days for shipments to North America and the rest of the world.

If your order has not arrived within 7-14 days, please contact us.

Can I add a personal message when sending a gift?

If you are sending an order as a gift, you will have the option to add your own personal message during checkout. We will write out your message on a small gift card which will be enclosed in the package.

How do I measure my wrist to select the correct size of bracelet?

Deciding on the best size for your wrist is a very personal decision. Some people prefer a bracelet or bangle that sits fairly close to their arm while others prefer a looser feeling with much greater movement. However, there is a minimum size to allow for the natural movement of your wrist and ensure an easy time getting the bracelet on or off.

To determine the smallest size that would be suitable, measure snugly around your wrist with a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string and add 1 centimetre to this measurement. For example, if your wrist measures 17 cm, you will require a bracelet of 18 cm for a comfortable, fairly close fit. This will usually be the ideal size unless you are someone who likes a lot of movement in their bracelets.

How do I measure my wrist to select the correct size of bangle?

As with bracelets, deciding on the best size of bangle for your wrist depends entirely on whether you prefer a bangle that sits fairly close to your wrist once it is on, or you prefer it loose, with much greater movement up and down your arm. However, there is also a minimum size to allow for the natural movement of your wrist and ensure an easy time getting the bangle off and on.

Most of our bangles are made in an oval shape, rather than round, to more closely reflect the contours of a wrist.

For a bangle that is open at the back, you can measure snugly around your wrist with a piece of string or flexible measuring tape to determine the exact circumference of your wrist and then choose the appropriate size as noted below.

For an expanding or continuous bangle, you must measure the circumference of the widest part of you hand, rather than your wrist, to ensure that the bangle will slip comfortably over your hand.

Again, you'll need a flexible measuring tape or piece of string.

Bend your thumb as far as possible into your hand to mimic the position you would put your hand into if you were putting a bangle on, with the thumb reaching toward the little finger.

Now wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your hand.  Keep the tape tight, it shouldn't be loose - you are trying to get a measurement of the smallest you can make your hand. Make a note of the size, or mark the string and measure it against a ruler.

This is the circumference measurement you will use to choose the correct size.

What are the measurements for you small, medium and large bangles?

Sterling silver is a relatively malleable metal. All of our bangles, including expanding bangles, have some flexibility in the sizing because they can be shaped gently in and out a little bit. We use centimetres rather than inches for measuring because it gives a more precise range of sizes.

Small: to fit wrist circumference 15-17.5 cm; internal diameter of the widest part of the bangle: 5.7 cm.

Medium: to fit wrist circumference 17.5-20 cm; internal diameter of widest part of the bangle: 6.2 cm.

Large: to fit wrist circumference 20 cm and above; internal diameter of widest part of the bangle: 6.7 cm.

When buying a gift, how do I choose the correct size of bracelet or bangle?

If you are choosing a gift, try to measure a loved one’s favourite bracelet or bangle in secret. If it is a piece they wear often, it is almost certainly a comfortable fit.

For a bracelet, you do not need to add an extra centimetre to the length as it is probably already the length they prefer.

For a bangle, measure the internal diameter (straight across the middle part of the bangle). Make sure the measurement is to the inside of the bangle rather than to the outer edge. Then choose the appropriate size from the choices below.

What if I have chosen the wrong size of bracelet, bangle or ring?

We want you to enjoy wearing our jewellery, so it is important to us that you have the best possible fit. We don’t want a piece languishing in a drawer just because it doesn’t feel right!

We are always happy to exchange our bracelets, bangles or rings for a smaller or larger size. Please email or phone with the new size you require and send the original piece back to us by First Class Signed For letter. To help us respond as quickly as possible, please include your order number. We will try to send the required size by return as soon as possible after receipt of the original item.
